This policy explains what Reputation Riot collects when you use reputationriot.com or hire us, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
Information you give us
When you request a free reputation analysis, call us, or become a client, you give us things like your name, email address, phone number, and a description of the content you want dealt with. Case details often include links, screenshots, and background about your situation. We collect this because we cannot assess or action a case without it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. This is used to keep the site working, to spot abuse, and to understand which pages are useful.
How we use what we collect
We use your information to review your case and reply to you, to carry out the work you hire us for, to send removal and suppression requests to third parties on your behalf, to take payment, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies to market to you.
When we share information
Case material is shared only where the work requires it. That can include the website, platform, or search engine we are asking to act, and the service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, email, and payment processors. We also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Because removal requests are sent to the parties hosting the content, some case details necessarily become visible to them. We tell you before doing anything that would expose more than the request needs.
Confidentiality
Reputation work is sensitive. We do not publish client names, we do not use case details in marketing without written permission, and we do not confirm to third parties that someone is a client.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep it functioning and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not behave correctly if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep case records for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under state or national privacy law. To make a request, call 1-855-832-7468 or use the contact page. We may need to verify who you are before we act.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
